Hello Again!

Since I'm back, I need to keep updating this. I want everyone to know that I'm safe and sound!

So, I noticed the Bears are going to the Super Bowl...I'll be rooting for them all the way. Hopefully I'll be able to watch it...wherever I am! I caught the first 6 points when I was eating midnight chow the other night...they looked amazingly good.
For all you Packer Fans out there...at least it's not them...for those Vikings fans...yeah right (we only wish we could be there!). Dad don't get mad, you know that's the truth!

Nothing new has happended here lately. Things have started heating up a little bit, but they seem to happen in waves. I'm guessing the next few months will be busy and then we'll see it calm down for a month, then crazy again...but that's life.

We're doing our Combat LifeSaver Recertifications right now. The Medics (that's me and my guys) get to watch the regular Joes get all antsy about sticking each other with needles (for IV's). They do a great job though and it's an important skill set to have out on the battlefield. They also get to recert on applying tourniquets, treating a bleeding extremity, putting a Nasopharngyal airway in, and doing a chest needle decompression...pretty cool stuff for a regular Joe to know. They always get worked up about the IV's though...it's fun to watch! (that's sick...I know)
