Hello Everyone!
It's been an awesome 9 days with Faith and my family! My parents and Faith threw a going away party on July 2nd. So many of my family showed up, it was pretty awesome! Faith and I spent some serious time up in the northwoods of Wisconsin just hanging out, 4-wheeling, partying, and sleeping! It was so relaxing and so great to spend time with her.
I'm sitting at O'Hare right now. Faith dropped me off at the Madison airport about an hour ago. It was rough to say good bye again, but this is for the big step. We've got a HUGE adventure ahead of us right now, but after this week, I have no doubts that we'll get through this thing and move on with our lives.
It would have been nice to spend a day or two down by Chicago, but we just ran out of time. We'll get to see everyone in about a year!
Side note...THANK YOU to my CDW friends that gave me the gift card, t-shirts, Nerds Candy, and very nice cards for my Birthday!
Well, I'll hopefully have some consistent internet service again soon...when I get overseas :)

Faith-time is more important than CDW-time, as far as I'm concerned.

Hey Jake, wonderful to hear that you had a blast up in cheese land with Faith and family :) Tiny came up here to us, only got to spend a day or two with him before he left but was worth it. He said that you two ran into each other again? :) talked to him last night, stress is getting to him and he mouthed back to his sgt. should have know boot camp wouldn't break that stubborn kid! Not all his fault tho, runs in the family haha I'm hoping that things will settle down once he's over there and gets into a routine. I'd be going out of my mind too with the waiting alone, so I give you both mad props for staying sane. You have my love and prayers, as does Faith and the rest of your family. Happy Belated birthday! If you need anything, let me know at the cdw email. Josh wants home made cookies, I told him that I thought his life was endanger enough just by going overseas without me cooking for him! lol but he likes to live dangerously ;)
